The Company

Fat Statement as an International company was founded in the summer of 2007, but we have a three and a half years worth of experience in custom prints on badges in Sweden under the brand Knapp.nu. We are currently located in a middle sized town called Halmstad in Sweden, but our coders works out of an office in Malmö.
It all started in the spring of 2004 as a side project for Mattias Johansson (now CEO) to support his studies. It quickly exploded in popularity and has over the years grown into seven employees and has to this date sold just under a half a million badges.
The Vision
We do this because we belive badges and similar products is used to either say who you are and what you think; but more importantly to make contact and start conversations with other people. The two things we really want to fight for is the freedom of speech, and giving people more opportunities to meet and talk. We truly believe that if people talked more to eachother, there would be a lot less fuss in the world.

Production
He works during the weekends. He also like Heavy Metal and made a documentary about the norwegian band called Mayhem. He is the only one who is married in the company.
The German
Marketing
Nobody has really met our marketer, the German, face to face. Residing in Berlin, we have only heard his voice over a crackling skype connection. He owns the most web sites in the company.
